Living “Off the Grid”
When the term “living off-the -grid” is used, many people think it means growing your own food, storing your own water, making your own clothes, and the like. All these things have their own appeal, but in the Warwick Solar Estate “living off-the-grid” simply means not being dependent on the main electricity grid, which in our case is Ergon.

The Warwick Solar Estate is a one-of-a-kind subdivision which in most respects looks like any other subdivision. The difference is that each home has its own solar panels and battery storage, along with the security of a community battery system which can be accessed in an emergency. In addition, as a further protection, there is a single connection to Ergon which can be used to top up the community battery should this ever be needed.
Warwick Solar Estate has 16 house lots. Three homes are built, three are under construction, and one other is being planned. Of the 16 lots, only three are still available. Anyone interested in knowing more about the concept can contact Trevor on 0427 456 296.
