Off-grid systems, now commonly referred to as SAPS (Stand Alone Power Systems) are designed to be totally independent of the main grid supply. Utilising totally different equipment to Hybrid systems, these SAPS are designed to run entire households including high power devices such as kettles, electric ovens, dryers and much more.
The design of these systems is a little bit more involved, but designed well, will give years of trouble free performance.
